Limitless yet Blue

This is a poem for people,

People, like you and me,

Who make themselves sticked to radiating screens,

Pretending to be busy to avoid the bustling crowd.

And also,

For those people,

like you and me,

Who let their guards down under the limitless sky,

And make their agony flew away along with the shapeless clouds.

For those people,

Like you and me,

Who call themselves an Astrophile -lover of clear blue skies,

And find themselves mending their broken heart, one piece at a time.

For people,

Unlike me and you,

Who no longer believe in stargazing,

And have lost a part of themselves along with the last seen shooting star.

For people,

Unlike me and you,

Who think grieving under the blue sky,

Won’t make any remarkable  change,

And the wound will beat with same painful pace.

So, you see there’s a single strand of string that has kept us connecting,

The clear, vast, limitless blue SKY.

Some like us are still connected,

and some are tangled in.

Everyday,

you and  I,

Lookout for the same blue sky,

Which in fact is not even blue,

It’s black, like the eyes of monster under our beds.

And you and I,

Weave patterns to shapeless grey clouds,

Which travel miles and miles,

And pour down at somewhere far in the globe.

You and I,

Hold palms of each other and promise for forever,

Forever that lies in uncertainity.

You and I,

Gaze at the countless twinkling stars,

And give birth to millions of stories with zillions of characters.

I see,

That there is a fear of explosion,

That this limitless huge canopy will break into pieces,

And the monster inside us will choke us to death,

But there is no light without darkness,

There is no life without the fear of death,

So my dear,

Open your windows or run to your roofs,

Look at that massive creation of universe out there,

And then look at you,

There’s a bit of sky inside us,

And it is limitless, beautiful yet blue.
