UNSEEN

 

When no one is watching,
I hold out the ink of my imagination,
and throw them to the fading sky for a cloudy delineation.
And write, until the dusky sky laughs at me,
and the wings of homecoming cuckoos are ready to flee.

When no one is watching,
I unfold the tawny pages of my hidden diary, 
Where lies the scent of joy and misery.
And scan it under the sheets till the dawn knocks at the door,
and again hide my journal to the core.

When no one is watching,
I add a pinch of teadust to my bitter coffee,
to calm my migrained brain in secrecy.
Just like those days when I paint my sky in pink
Only to vanish my worries within a blink.

When no one is watching,
I steadily crawl over my bed, 

to check if the monster under it has fallen asleep or not. 

Hoping to spot a wrinkled skin which is supposed to be bloodless,

I discover myself entrapped in gloominess. 

When no one is watching,
I let the french window of my room open,
To hear echoes of rain and thunderstorm.
And let the shiny drops land on my face,
and the fresh smell of wild cosmos and rain fill my empty space.

When no one is watching,
I unlatch some of my insecurities,
and let them free to the infinity.
And bottle half of my fears,
to throw them into the deep blue sea.

So, who are you,
When no one is watching?

[The most intimidating thing for people who write is a writers block. And when the world around you is falling, it becomes more tough to continue writing.I'm not sure if I can call myself  a writer or not, but the inability to maintain my writings do give me goosebumps.I wasn't able to write for past one month maybe due to writers block or maybe i just couldn't concentrate when People around me are dying,families are loosing their pillars, and some are loosing themselves too, and we can't save each and every people. And that's heartbreaking. We all need help and we all need to heal. And during this time we badly need to stand together. I request all those people who are reading this to be kind and helpful because someone out there is in need, who wants moral, physical or financial support. Help them if possible and if you cannot then just don't try to scratch their wounds.
