A STRONG WILLED SOUL

                    

In evey calm midnight...

When the mirror reflects the moonlight

She throws a glance in the shinning mirror

Only to grab the pillow in sudden fear

Her disfigured face now flashes the story

The horrific day is now a little less blurry

It was a sunny summer day

All her worries were far away

Each step filled with tones of hope

Giving her best even in the tiniest scope

She was on her way to home

Eagerly waiting to hug her Mom

But fate had planned something horrible

And the resulting pain was unbearable

A known face showed up all of a sudden

Intending for the worst which can't be forgotten

He opened the lid and emptied the bottle

Threw the burning liquid to harm her soul

Before she reacts her skin starts melting

She could do nothing but screaming

She  badly shouted for help

No one came up and her scalp started to melt

Then she fainted while waiting for help

And found herself wrapped in bandages

There was nothing she could manage

 And now after months........ 

Her burnt face flashes the cruelty

Those melted ears proves the lack of humanity

And those fresh scars shows the brutality

But....

The burning pain has made her stronger

She has become a real fighter

Her half burnt soul is now more divine

She has her own mountain to climb

Dazzling half smile has made her prettier

Scars have made her soul firmer

Her soul is now strong willed along with pain

Buds of her dreams are ready to bloom again.

My views about Acid attack:

In a hot summer day, when the hot loo  touches your body, you instantly get irritated and look for a cold environment . Similarly while boiling water, when you carelessly hold the hot pan, you give a loud shout and look for cold water. These are natural human behaviours which are expressed when we experience the unpleasant. 

Now imagine you are on the road,heading towards your destination, suddenly a person shows up and throws a transparent liquid to your face. And in the next moment you will experience the most horrific and painful feeling of your life. When you try to touch your  face, you will get your palms burnt. Your skin is melting just like the ice in a hot pan and you can't do anything about that. You are just lying on the road helplessly and screaming for help. But no one shows up. You are experiencing the worst and it feel like your soul is burning. Your voice can't even get louder.That burning liquid is diffusing itself and your voice is getting choked. Everything around you will just get freezed and finally you get fainted. When you come to your senses you will find your face covered in bandages as if those are covering the dead.
And when you glance at mirror , you will find a new face. Melted ears, burnt hair, fused nose,impaired eyes and a burnt soul.

Can we even imagine that?
we can't and can never be until we face the same. And I hope no one can ever face such an inhumanity.

This spine chilling incident caused by monsters disguised as human is known as Acid attack, vitriol attack or Vitriolage. But I think this is an attempt to burn your soul along with your face. A lot of victims of acid attack has found their courage to make a comeback and some remain in the gloominess. Due to creepy mindset of some people those victims hesitate to come outside. They cover their face whenever they come out. This shows how poor our thoughts are. So let's change our mentality and help them to strengthen their soul. A little help can make a large Change which our society badly needs. We can never imagine the pain they have been through. So let's do our bit to crush the acid attack.
